The University Centre for Medical Education and Continuing Professional Development is an academically founded, medical education provider. A first of its kind in the UK, The University Centre is part of the University of Hertfordshire and is a not-for-profit company.*
The University Centre provides academic endorsed or accredited programmes for healthcare professionals either directly or through healthcare industry sponsored initiatives. The University Centre can deliver its programmes at any suitable location, but can also offer access to the University of Hertfordshire’s facilities including its advanced clinical simulation centre – one of the largest in Europe.
In all situations, the University Centre logo associated with an educational initiative provides the assurance of quality and high educational value.
* The University Centre for Medical Education and Continuing Professional Development is a not-for-profit organisation. In the full service implementation of programmes the University Centre by definition does contract with suppliers who are themselves commercial organisations.
